In December 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work The Norman Arch, Old Town, Hyères by Edward Henry Fahey for GBP 437.50 (€ 594.49). This price was achieved in the auction British & Continental Watercolours & Drawings at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Henry Fahey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A girl playing with a cat in an interior in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 12,337.39).
