Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online, which included this untitled work by Edward Henderson. It changed hands for a price of USD 750.00 (€ 654.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 400.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Henderson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work P.I.P. in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,198.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Edward Henderson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 750,00 (€ 654,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 400,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Henderson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit P.I.P. im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.198,71).
