A top price for Edward Dufner - as previously expected
The work Among The Lilies by Edward Dufner was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. The price achieved of USD 64,000.00 (€ 43,572.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Among The Lilies is the most expensive artwork by Edward Dufner that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Among The Lilies von Edward Dufner kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 64.000,00 (€ 43.572,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Among The Lilies das teuerste Kunstwerk von Edward Dufner, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
