Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work The Seine At Bas Meudon by Edward Dufner for USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,075.37). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Edward Dufner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Among The Lilies in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 64,000.00 (€ 43,572.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Seine At Bas Meudon von Edward Dufner für USD 10.800,00 (€ 8.075,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00.
