The work By the Window by Edward Dufner was sold in the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in September 2007. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,549.27), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Dufner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Among The Lilies in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 64,000.00 (€ 43,572.98).

Die Arbeit By the Window von Edward Dufner wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.549,27) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edward Dufner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Among The Lilies im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 64.000,00 (€ 43.572,98).
