Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boating Lake by Edward Ardizzone was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,646.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Ardizzone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Saloon Bar at The Shirland in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 6,572.50 (€ 9,445.04).

Die Arbeit Boating Lake von Edward Ardizzone kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.646,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edward Ardizzone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Saloon Bar at The Shirland im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.572,50 (€ 9.445,04).
