Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Sin título by Eduardo Kingman. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,346.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduardo Kingman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sin Título in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 82,322.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin título von Eduardo Kingman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.737,50 (€ 5.346,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduardo Kingman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sin Título im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 82.322,36).
