The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,860.00 (€ 13,115.06), 73% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduardo Kingman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sin Título in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 82,322.36).

Die Arbeit Ceguera (also known as Beggar and Child) von Eduardo Kingman wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 13.115,06) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo Kingman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sin Título im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 82.322,36).
