Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work La Préparation Du Couscous by Edouard Verschaffelt. It changed hands for a price of EUR 38,321.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Edouard Verschaffelt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work Scène Familiale was auctioned for EUR 72,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Préparation Du Couscous von Edouard Verschaffelt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 38.321,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Edouard Verschaffelt konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2007 die Arbeit Scène Familiale für EUR 72.250,00 versteigert.
