The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 957.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edmund Morison Wimperis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Across the Moor in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,587.56).
