The work Across the Moor by Edmund Morison Wimperis was sold in the British and Victorian Pictures auction at Christies in London in June 2000. The price achieved of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,587.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Across the Moor is the most expensive artwork by Edmund Morison Wimperis that we have observed at auctions so far.
