Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,256.00). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edmund Morison Wimperis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Across the Moor, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,587.56).
