Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Platonic Solid by Edgar Arceneaux was sold in the First Open Online auction at Christies in London in September 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 625.00 (€ 701.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edgar Arceneaux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Art of Creation III, which sold at auction in October 2016 for EUR 2,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Platonic Solid von Edgar Arceneaux wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion First Open Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 625,00 (€ 701,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Edgar Arceneaux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Art of Creation III beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für EUR 2.000,00 versteigert wurde.
