Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Edgar Arceneaux could be acquired at Christies in Paris in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Vente en ligne d'Art Contemporain auction, the work Dawn of man changed hands for EUR 125.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edgar Arceneaux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Art of Creation III in October 2016 with an auction result of EUR 2,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edgar Arceneaux konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Vente en ligne d'Art Contemporain wechselte die Arbeit Dawn of man für EUR 125,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edgar Arceneaux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Art of Creation III im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.000,00.
