Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fluid On Face by Eddie Peake was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,677.69). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eddie Peake - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Modern Woman Ii, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 59,912.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fluid On Face von Eddie Peake kam im Oktober 2017 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.677,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Eddie Peake mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Modern Woman Ii beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 59.912,43) versteigert wurde.
