Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Air Drawing #1; Wing drawing, 1980 by Edda Renouf for USD 478.00 (€ 397.27). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edda Renouf achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work High Frequency Drawing #6 in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,349.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Air Drawing #1; Wing drawing, 1980 von Edda Renouf für USD 478,00 (€ 397,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edda Renouf erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit High Frequency Drawing #6 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.349,66).
