This artwork by Ed Paschke achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Amber Mian sold for EUR 9,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ed Paschke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bag Boots in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 245,000.00 (€ 179,618.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ed Paschke erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Amber Mian für EUR 9.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ed Paschke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bag Boots im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 245.000,00 (€ 179.618,77).
