Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 646.25 (€ 915.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ebenezer Wake Cook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elaine in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,702.52).
