Upper estimate price exceeded by 33 %.
The work Studies Of Children by Eastman Johnson was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2017. It achieved a price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,434.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eastman Johnson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Little Soldier in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 856,000.00 (€ 693,173.54).
