Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Alarmé Du Futur by E. L. T. Mesens was sold in the Collection Arthur Brandt auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2018. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by E. L. T. Mesens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Noctambule (The Night Prowler), which sold at auction in May 2019 for EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Alarmé Du Futur von E. L. T. Mesens wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Collection Arthur Brandt bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von E. L. T. Mesens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Noctambule (The Night Prowler) beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
