Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Good Morning No. 10 by Duan Jianyu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 85,837.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Duan Jianyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sister No.14 (Diptych) in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 455,316.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Good Morning No. 10 von Duan Jianyu kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 85.837,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Duan Jianyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sister No.14 (Diptych) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.000.000,00 (€ 455.316,49).
