The »bidding war« ended at HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,736.75), 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by Duan Jianyu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 455,316.49) in April 2019 for the work Sister No.14 (Diptych).
