Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Volcano Erupting by Dr. Atl was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,422.50 (€ 2,704.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dr. Atl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Volcano Erupting von Dr. Atl wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.422,50 (€ 2.704,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dr. Atl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mañana Luminosa im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.268.639,51).
