In the Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art auction, the work Paisaje sold for USD 43,750.00 (€ 39,290.53) - well above the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dr. Atl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Dr. Atl erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Paisaje für USD 43.750,00 (€ 39.290,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dr. Atl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mañana Luminosa im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.268.639,51).
