Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Las Calderas Y El Iztaccíhuatl (Paisaje Con Maguey) by Dr. Atl was sold in the Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2016. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,129.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dr. Atl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Las Calderas Y El Iztaccíhuatl (Paisaje Con Maguey) von Dr. Atl wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 56.129,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden.
