Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Red Camellia(Painted In 2017) by Dong Shaw-Hwei was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Shaw-Hwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Red Camellia(Painted In 2017) von Dong Shaw-Hwei kam im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Shaw-Hwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
