Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Coming Together–The Red Camilla(Painted In 2014) by Dong Shaw-Hwei was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 320,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 330,400.00 (€ 36,364.42). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Shaw-Hwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Coming Together–The Red Camilla(Painted In 2014) von Dong Shaw-Hwei kam im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 320.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 330.400,00 (€ 36.364,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Shaw-Hwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Camellia In The Morning (Painted In 2014) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
