Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sparrow In Spring by Dong Gao was auctioned at POLY in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 26,573.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Dong Gao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenic Sites Of West Lake in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 194,500.00 (€ 146,670.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sparrow In Spring von Dong Gao kam im Oktober 2018 bei POLY zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 26.573,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dong Gao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenic Sites Of West Lake im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 194.500,00 (€ 146.670,69).
