The work Calligraphy by Dong Gao was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 207,000.00 (€ 19,643.22). Admittedly, works by Dong Gao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenic Sites Of West Lake in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 194,500.00 (€ 146,670.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Dong Gao kam im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 207.000,00 (€ 19.643,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dong Gao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenic Sites Of West Lake im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 194.500,00 (€ 146.670,69).
