In the Icons of Glamour and Style: The Constantiner Collection auction, the work A Mad Day in London with The Beatles, July 28, 1968 changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,388.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Don McCullin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shell-shocked US Marine, The Battle of Hue in May 2019 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,298.50).
