Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Domenico Zindato for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,060.16). This price was achieved in the auction Outsider and Vernacular Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Domenico Zindato have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Triptych), 2012 in January 2018 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,549.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Domenico Zindato für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.060,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Domenico Zindato auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Triptych), 2012 im Januar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.549,24).
