Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Domenico Zindato could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Outsider and Vernacular Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,090.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Domenico Zindato - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Triptych), 2012, which sold at auction in January 2018 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,549.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Domenico Zindato konnte im Januar 2021 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.090,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Domenico Zindato mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Triptych), 2012 beobachtet, die im Januar 2018 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.549,24) versteigert wurde.
