Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Outsider Art, which included the work Untitled, 2008 by Domenico Zindato. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,732.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Domenico Zindato have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2018 the work Untitled (Triptych), 2012 was auctioned for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,549.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Outsider Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, 2008 von Domenico Zindato zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.732,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Domenico Zindato konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2018 die Arbeit Untitled (Triptych), 2012 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.549,24) versteigert.
