Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Outsider Art, which included the work Untitled, 2009 by Domenico Zindato. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,380.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Domenico Zindato - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Triptych), 2012, which sold at auction in January 2018 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,549.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Outsider Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, 2009 von Domenico Zindato zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.380,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Domenico Zindato mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Triptych), 2012 beobachtet, die im Januar 2018 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.549,24) versteigert wurde.
