The work (I) Untitled (Oval With Two Supporting Lines) (II) Untitled (Cube And Circle) by Dom Sylvester Houédard was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2013. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,950.14), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dom Sylvester Houédard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work (i) Untitled (ii) Untitled, which sold at auction in September 2014 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,422.24).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit (I) Untitled (Oval With Two Supporting Lines) (II) Untitled (Cube And Circle) von Dom Sylvester Houédard kam im April 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.950,14) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dom Sylvester Houédard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit (i) Untitled (ii) Untitled beobachtet, die im September 2014 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.422,24) versteigert wurde.
