Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work (I) Portrait Of Fiona (II) Nicholas, Fiona (Iii) Sylvester And Me Pyramids For Fiona (Iv) Untitled (V) Nicholas, Fiona by Dom Sylvester Houédard. The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,032.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dom Sylvester Houédard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work (i) Untitled (ii) Untitled in September 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,422.24).
