In July last year Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Black and White by Djordje Ozbolt. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,523.32), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Djordje Ozbolt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Last Year's Fashion in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 48,969.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black and White von Djordje Ozbolt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.523,32) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Djordje Ozbolt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Last Year's Fashion im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 48.969,29).
