This artwork by Dirk Stewen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2012. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,587.82) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Dirk Stewen that we have observed at auctions so far.
