Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Dirk Stewen was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2012. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,155.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Dirk Stewen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2012 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,587.82).
