Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Lives by Ding Yunpeng was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,493.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yunpeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweeping the Elephant in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,640,000.00 (€ 767,939.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Lives von Ding Yunpeng wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.493,06) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yunpeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweeping the Elephant im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.640.000,00 (€ 767.939,75).
