Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Luohan by Ding Yunpeng. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,757.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yunpeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweeping the Elephant in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,640,000.00 (€ 767,939.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Luohan von Ding Yunpeng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.757,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yunpeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweeping the Elephant im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.640.000,00 (€ 767.939,75).
