A top price for Ding Yunpeng
This artwork by Ding Yunpeng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Sweeping the Elephant sold for HKD 6,640,000.00 (€ 767,939.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 2,800,000.00. This high result makes Sweeping the Elephant the most expensive artwork by Ding Yunpeng that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ding Yunpeng erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Sweeping the Elephant für HKD 6.640.000,00 (€ 767.939,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 2.800.000,00.
