Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Tale of Tao Yuanming by Ding Yunpeng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ding Yunpeng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sweeping the Elephant in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,640,000.00 (€ 767,939.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Tale of Tao Yuanming von Ding Yunpeng kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 1.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ding Yunpeng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sweeping the Elephant im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.640.000,00 (€ 767.939,75).
