Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year POLY held the auction Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors, which included the work Lohan In Line Drawing by Ding Yunpeng. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 744.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yunpeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweeping the Elephant in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,640,000.00 (€ 767,939.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lohan In Line Drawing von Ding Yunpeng zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 6.000,00 (€ 744,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yunpeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweeping the Elephant im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.640.000,00 (€ 767.939,75).
