Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Reading Sutra Under The Pine by Ding Yunpeng. The »bidding war« ended at USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,949.60), 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yunpeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweeping the Elephant in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,640,000.00 (€ 767,939.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reading Sutra Under The Pine von Ding Yunpeng zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 57.949,60) und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yunpeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweeping the Elephant im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.640.000,00 (€ 767.939,75).
