In January 2014 Christies in London held the auction The Ski Sale, Travel in Style, which included the work Pampers by Dick Bruna. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,284.72), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dick Bruna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Train, which sold at auction in September 2009 for EUR 7,500.00.

Im Januar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Ski Sale, Travel in Style durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pampers von Dick Bruna zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.284,72) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Dick Bruna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Train beobachtet, die im September 2009 für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert wurde.
