Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pampers by Dick Bruna was sold in the The Ski Sale auction at Christies in London in January 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 812.00 (€ 1,063.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Dick Bruna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Train in September 2009 with an auction result of EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pampers von Dick Bruna wurde im Januar 2016 in der Auktion The Ski Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 812,00 (€ 1.063,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dick Bruna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Train im September 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.500,00.
