Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2016 Christies in London held the auction The Ski Sale, which included the work Miffy, Pampers by Dick Bruna. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,145.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Dick Bruna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Train in September 2009 with an auction result of EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Ski Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miffy, Pampers von Dick Bruna zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.145,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dick Bruna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Train im September 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.500,00.
