This work without title by Devin Troy Strother was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March this year. The price achieved of USD 5,334.00 (€ 4,906.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Devin Troy Strother have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 96 Niggas on That Assorted Colours in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 21,459.59).
