This artwork by Francis Picabia achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in November 2017. In the Modern | Post War | Contemporary auction, the work Espagnole. sold for EUR 21,930.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Picabia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pavonia in March last year with an auction result of EUR 9,996,700.00.
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francis Picabia erzielte im November 2017 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern | Post War | Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Espagnole. für EUR 21.930,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Picabia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pavonia im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.996.700,00.
